Apple CEO Tim Cook has recently disclosed his choice of the Natural Titanium color option for his iPhone 15 Pro. Cook expressed that selecting the color was a challenging decision, as he was also attracted to the blue, white, and black options. The Natural Titanium color has garnered substantial demand, with shipping times for the 256GB variant extending beyond six weeks in the US. The iPhone 15 series is set to become available for purchase starting from September 22.
Apple’s recent iPhone unveiling has generated considerable discussion, with opinions on the design, USB-C port, and, notably, the available colors. This heightened interest is partly due to the introduction of an entirely new titanium chassis for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. This titanium chassis not only reduces the device’s weight but also provides it with a distinctive appearance. The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are offered in four titanium-based colors: Natural Titanium, Black Titanium, Blue Titanium, and White Titanium.
Following the event, Cook was asked about his choice, to which he responded, “You know, I’m using the Natural [Titanium].” He further mentioned that the decision was quite challenging, saying, “I love it, but I tell you, it was a hard decision.” Cook admitted that he was initially tempted by the blue, white, and black options but ultimately settled on the Natural Titanium, a choice that is expected to be popular among users.
Interestingly, the Natural Titanium color option appears to be the most sought after, with shipping times for the iPhone 15 Pro Max (256GB variant) in the US currently exceeding six weeks. Other color variants still offer relatively faster delivery times, around three weeks. The iPhone 15 series officially goes on sale for the first time on September 22, with pre-orders having commenced on September 15. Delivery times may vary depending on the selected color and storage variant.
