Combative Super Eagles midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo finally gets a Premier league move that he deserves as he joins newly-promoted EPL side, Watford, from Championship side Stoke City.
Etebo has been on the edge and the periphery of the Premier League for close to 3-years now. Last season he spent it out on loan at the Turkish side Galatasaray where he made 29 appearances across all competitions.
The details of the contract have not been made known, but there are reports Etebo will sign a permanent deal with the Hornets.
“It is true he (Etebo) has gone through his routine medicals at Watford but let’s wait for more official details about the deal, and that will be soon. It’s not a loan move,” our source said.
Once the deal is completed, Etebo will become the fifth Nigerian at the club after William Troost-Ekong, Isaac Success, Tom Dele-Bashiru, and Emmanuel Dennis.
