Reports have emerged suggesting that Colombian singer Shakira and Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton have moved beyond friendship into a romantic relationship, despite ongoing dating rumors.
The speculations about their relationship gained momentum as they were seen together at several events throughout the year. Recently, an insider disclosed that the pair’s connection has progressed into more than just friendship following a private trip to Ibiza.
Sources from a Catalan newspaper indicated that Shakira, aged 46, and Lewis Hamilton, aged 38, have taken steps forward in their relationship. They were observed together on a yacht with friends, attended the British Grand Prix jointly, and were seen at a nightclub.
Journalist Jodi Martin clarified the situation, emphasizing that they share a beautiful friendship. She denied rumors of Hamilton being frustrated with Shakira’s attitude, confirming that there’s more than just friendship between them. She noted that both individuals were aware that their connection wasn’t meant to be serious and that they had complete freedom to interact as they pleased.
An additional source connected to Spanish TV channel Telecinco disclosed that the singer and the F1 driver met multiple times at an Ibiza villa, spending time together after the staff had left for the day.
They reported, “When the workers left, the singer stayed alone with her private escort and received a visit from Hamilton.” The source also mentioned that Hamilton’s driver overheard his frequent conversations with Shakira.
While Hamilton enjoyed a vacation on a yacht in Ibiza, Shakira remained in her villa, venturing out only a couple of times. One occasion was to attend an event, and the other was to have dinner with Hamilton.
Following the British Grand Prix, Shakira reportedly partied with Hamilton at a London nightclub, fueling further rumors of romance between them. They were seen conversing at a VIP table and were observed dancing, with Shakira leaving around 3:30 am and Hamilton staying out until 6 am.
These developments have sparked renewed interest in the potential relationship between the two, as they continue to be seen together at various social engagements.
