Eats by TKO, a renowned breakfast bistro in Lagos, has recently elevated its offerings by opening a delightful dine-in space after four successful years of serving celebrated breakfast and brunch baskets and platters. Founder and head cook, Anita Jo-Okereke, reflected on the personal, challenging, yet fulfilling journey to establish their “permanent site.”
The bistro officially opened its doors on July 10th, promising a fresh and invigorating experience. What’s commendable is their openness about being new to the restaurant game, embracing feedback and suggestions from their patrons.
The food menu extends from their former online vendor’s offerings, featuring a delightful array of options, including traditional Nigerian breakfast meals, as well as gourmet pancakes and waffles.
On the downside, the drinks menu is relatively narrower, offering only a couple of tea options, milkshakes, fresh juice, and parfaits. However, it’s worth noting that all their drinks are reasonably priced, falling below the N4000 mark. With a budget of N10000, you can enjoy a hearty meal and drink at this bistro.
Given its limited space, Eats By TKO primarily operates as a grab ‘n’ go joint, prioritizing takeout and delivery orders. Nonetheless, the restaurant has optimized its decor for Instagram-worthy shots, making it a tempting spot for those looking to snap a few pics for their feed.
The bistro’s operational hours are from 8 AM to 6 PM every day of the week, except on Sundays, unfortunately. So, if you’re planning for a Sunday brunch, you’ll have to look elsewhere. It might come as a surprise to some that they don’t take their day off on Monday like most Lagos restaurants, but who says we must follow the conventional norms?
