Description:
Miss Nigeria Launches Beauty and Fashion Fair, Kicks Off 2026 Season
The Miss Nigeria Organisation has announced the Miss Nigeria Beauty and Fashion Fair, set to hold from March 22–23, 2026, at the Eko Hotel in Lagos. The event not only stands on its own as a celebration of style and creativity but also officially launches the Miss Nigeria 2026 season, themed “She is Made of More.”
The campaign celebrates women whose achievements go beyond appearance, highlighting impact, leadership, and purpose. Over the years, Miss Nigeria has produced women who have excelled in business, healthcare, the arts, and social advocacy, and this year’s theme aims to inspire a new generation to embrace their full potential.
Heritage is central to the fair, which will run alongside the Daily Times Young Designer of the Year competition—a platform known for discovering some of Nigeria’s most celebrated fashion talents, including Folorunsho Alakija. The collaboration creates a vibrant fusion of beauty, fashion, and entrepreneurship, providing emerging designers and ambitious creatives with exposure and support.
Commenting on the launch, Rita Dominic, Chairman of the Miss Nigeria Organisation, described the fair as a showcase of Nigerian strength and potential, framing the season not just as a search for a queen, but as an investment in future female leaders.
As Nigeria’s oldest beauty pageant, Miss Nigeria has become an institution that champions culture, values, and female leadership. The Beauty and Fashion Fair extends this mission, offering attendees the chance to discover new brands, engage with industry voices, and draw inspiration from stories of creativity, ambition, and purpose.
